We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our innovative healthcare startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining healthcare technology platforms, with a focus on EDI and AWS solutions. This position will play a critical role in driving the technical development and implementation of our cutting-edge healthcare solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure healthcare technology solutions using AWS CDK and TypeScript
  • Implement and integrate healthcare EDI transactions, such as eligibility verifications, claims submissions, and claims status inquiries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Operations, and Data Analytics, to identify and prioritize technical requirements and deliverables
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding best practices, and maintain high-quality documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare industry regulations, such as HIPAA and HL7, and ensure compliance in all technical solutions
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of our claims processing system, leveraging experience with Trizetto NetworkX Pricer or similar tools

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 3 years in a healthcare technology environment
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with AWS CDK
  • Solid understanding of healthcare EDI transactions and standards
  • Experience with claims processing systems, preferably Trizetto NetworkX Pricer
  • Familiar with database management and administration concepts
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations, such as HIPAA and HL7

We're looking for an AI Operations Specialist to lead the development and implementation of AI tools that enhance our operational efficiency and drive innovation. Position Overview

The AI Operations Specialist will lead the development, integration and implementation of artificial intelligence tools to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation within our growing organization. This role focuses on leveraging existing AI technologies and ensuring seamless integration into our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an AI roadmap aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Partner with all teams and departments to understand operational challenges and opportunities for AI enhancement.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value use cases for AI implementation across our sales, operations, and administrative departments
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate AI platforms and tools
  • Establish governance frameworks for AI adoption, including policies for data security, fairness, and transparency.

You'll work cross-functionally with design, engineering, operations, and customer success to build products that deliver measurable value to both sides of the marketplace.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with healthcare data (e.g., pricing transparency, claims, provider directories) is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to communicate with engineers effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • A bias toward action, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have
